STEP-BY-STEP SELECTOR

Tell us about your application

Complete the details you know. Choose “Not sure” wherever you need technical guidance.

About 2–3 minutes
1 Machine and project
Select the closest match. If your machine is not listed, choose “Other / custom machinery.”
2 Control style and operation

Which type of control best describes your application?

This is an initial estimate, not a confirmed channel or axis count.
meters
Actual range must be verified for the selected radio system and site conditions.
Controls or features you may need
Feature availability and safety integration depend on the final design and machine requirements.
3 Existing controls and working environment
Important for compatibility and safety

The transmitter, receiver, valve/interface, machine power supply, stop logic and signal-loss behavior must be checked as one system. Never bypass existing safety circuits. For potentially explosive or classified areas, confirm the area classification and required approvals before specifying any equipment.

4 Extra details for an engineering review

This selector provides an initial recommendation only. It does not automatically test or certify compatibility, and your answers are not transmitted or stored by this page.

HOW IT WORKS

From machine requirements to a suitable remote control

01

Describe the machine

Choose the equipment type and tell us whether this is an OEM project, a retrofit or a replacement.

02

Define the controls

Identify proportional movements, on/off functions, approximate function count and any preferred control layout.

03

Review compatibility

Share valve, power, wiring or existing-controller details so the required interface can be evaluated.

04

Confirm the configuration

Nomi’s technical team can discuss a suitable standard or custom configuration and the next steps for quotation.

CUSTOM APPLICATIONS WELCOME

Can't find your machine?

Nomi's in-house R&D team supports custom remote control configurations for a wide range of machine types and control requirements. If your equipment is not listed, share the machine model, required movements, valve or controller information, and any available photos or wiring diagrams for an engineering review.

SELECTION FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can Nomi help if I do not know which remote control type I need?

Yes. Choose “Not sure yet” and provide the machine model and the functions you want to control. The selection summary helps organize the information for a technical discussion.

Can a wireless remote control be fitted to an existing hydraulic machine?

A retrofit may be possible, but it depends on the existing valve arrangement, available electrical interfaces, machine controls and safety requirements. Photos, wiring diagrams and valve model details help the engineering team assess the project.

Does the number of machine functions equal the number of joystick axes or radio channels?

Not necessarily. A function may require a joystick axis, a button, a switch or a specific receiver output. Simultaneous operation, proportional outputs and machine logic also affect the final configuration, so the function count in this tool is only an estimate.

Can Nomi customize the joystick, buttons or control layout?

Control layouts and auxiliary functions can be discussed for custom applications. The available arrangement must be confirmed against the machine requirements, the selected controller and the final engineering design.

Will this tool confirm that a remote control is compatible with my machine?

No. It provides a preliminary direction, not a compatibility certification. Final confirmation requires reviewing the relevant mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, radio and safety interfaces.
